Members
The Canadian Cancer Society has different members. The members are employed full time or volunteers that spend their valuable time helping others. There is also a volunteer board of directors. The responsibilities of this program is to be a leader, govern the society and to give a better light for the public.
Influence
The Canadian Cancer Society is great at influencing the world view on cancer. It is also influential at changing the governments view on cancer as well. Some of there influence is that were related to British Columbia's commitment to cancer prevention and raising the cost of tobacco. They also spread influence of how asbestos causes cancer and asked if the governments will be opposed to the asbestos industry in which they were successful as the governments promised to do something if they were elected.
